INSTRUCTIONS FOR AUTHORS FOR CAUCASUS JOURNAL OF SOCIAL SCIENCES
The Caucasus Journal of Social Sciences will consider papers for publication that deal with academic disciplines that study human aspects of the world. These include, among others, anthropology, archaeology, economics, education, geography, history, information science, international relations, law, linguistics, politics, psychology, public health, and sociology. Papers in the humanities and other disciplines will be considered if they are related in some way to one or more of these disciplines.
Send new submissions by e-mail to the Editor, Juliet Andghuladze, at cjss_editor@yahoo.com, no later than the 1st of November, 2008.
The authors should follow instructions:
1. Prepare your paper in English. Be concise. We will return to authors for correction papers with poor English.
2. Your paper must contain original work.
3. Submit articles that other journals have not published. We will, however, consider papers that were previously published only in Georgian or Russian language.
4. The title page should be a separate file containing the title of the paper and each author’s name, affiliation, address, telephone, fax number, and e-mail address.
5. Submit an abstract of 100-150 words in two languages: English and Georgian. The abstract should be specific and provide the readers with information about
the importance of the findings.
6. Provide a biographical sketch of no more than one page for each author in a separate file.
7. The main paper should not contain the names of authors.
9. Avoid unusual symbols. If you use unconventional symbols, explain them.
10. Figures must be high resolution, each containing descriptive headings. We cannot publish figures of poor quality.
11. The print version of the journal will be black and white.
12. Experts will review the paper.
13. We will inform authors of the status of submitted articles.
14. Please indicate name, surname, and title of the paper in the Subject line of your e-mail message.
